Our Pack

At Blue & Roo, we have a quite diverse pack of dogs! From little Rosie Roo our senior, Shih-Tzu mix, to Sully, our 1 year old Blue Heeler, there is certainly always something fun happening!

Rosie Roo: Rosie is the OG, there one who started it all! Coming home in the early 2010’s, Rosie was our very first family dog. For majority of her life, she was raised on commercial canned food. While Rosie was an amazing little trick dog back in the day, she had quite a few health problems that would keep popping up. After spending lots of time and money researching and looking into ways to help her overcome these issues, we finally stumbled upon the power of fresh feeding! Sidini (Sid): Sidini is our golden girl, in every possible way. Sidini was my very first sport prospect, and she is the reason that I am where I am today! Sidini has been raised on a variety of food. As she was a young adult, I went through trying MANY different brands of food, however none ever stuck. They were either ridiculously expensive, not appetising (in Sid’s opinion), or sometimes she just simply didn’t thrive of some brands. It was a long, stressful journey to get here, but overtime, we eventually started Blue & Roo!

Sullivan (Sully): Sully’s the newest addition to our pack, and boy has it been a hectic year with this crazy cat! Origanlly born in Port Vincent, this boy joined our home at 8 weeks old, and hes been the light of our lives since! Every single morning and night, you will catch Sully spinning as many times as he can before you put his food bowl down! Sully’s favourites from Blue & Roo are definitely our Kangaroo BARF, Beef Bowl, and Lamb Rib Racks!

Lilo (Now Lulu): Lulu was our very first Blue & Roo Foster, and we really couldn’t have asked for a better introduction! Bringing her into our home at 8 weeks old, we had no idea what to expect, however we were met with this smoochy, snuggly puppy who only knew love. After being the result of back yard breeding, her and some of her siblings were dumped at a local shelter at only a few days old. Being hand raised by people, Lulu absolutely loves everyone she has ever met. after being in out care, socialising, desensitising, and being a puppy for a few weeks, our neighbour Megan (Dot Chocolate) officially adopted Lilo, and re-named her Lulu! We still regularly see Lulu, and of course we make sure to supply her mum with the absolute best nutrition for her!

Elaine (Ellie): Sweet little Ellie was our second Blue & Roo Foster, and she was the complete opposite to Lulu. Scared, unsure, under-socialised and afraid, Ellie was unsure of the world around her. After coming into our care at 4 months old, it was clear that Ellie had never really left the house… she didn’t know what a leash was, she was afraid of cars driving past our house, and refused to go anywhere near a man. After intorducing her to our pack, it was almost like her walls came immediately down. Her little stumpy tail was wiggling like you would not belive, and she was following Sully’s every move. After being in our care for a few months, growing her confidence, and finding her voice, Ellie was officially adopted early this year.
